YOUR ITINERARY
Day 1
Victoria Falls
- This tour begins with collection from the Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. From the airport, you are transferred to your lodge, The Shearwater Explorers Village for check-in with assistance from a representative from Viccation. The lodge is perfectly located just outside the CBD and a walking distance to The Victoria Falls and various souvenir and curio markets. Sunset Cruise - After checking in and settling down, you will be transferred to the Zambezi River by minibus for a scenic and relaxing sunset cruise. The cruise departs at approx. 16:00 and lasts for 2 hours. This safari-lounge cruise experience includes an assortment of delicious light snacks and sundowners. You will have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as hippos, buffalos, impalas, elephants, the Nile crocodile and an endless array of birdlife. After spectacular views of the sunset on the Zambezi, the cruise ends and you will be transferred back to your lodge.
Day 2
Guided Tour Of The Falls
- The second day kicks off early with a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls. You will be picked up by your tour guide and transferred by minibus to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. The feeling of the ground vibrating beneath your feet as you stand at the edge of the Falls is indescribable. With over 16 viewing points, this tour lasts for approx. 2 hours. After the Falls Tour, you will be transferred back to your lodge for a free afternoon of optional excursions. Flight of Angels - The day ends with one of the most spectacular ways of viewing Victoria Falls. Taking to the air on a helicopter flight allows you a once-in-a-lifetime experience to take in the whole panorama and enchantment of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world.
Day 3
Chobe Day Trip
- You will be picked up from your lodge and take a 1-hour road transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana for an exciting full day of adventure in one of the best National Parks in Southern Africa. The two-part trip includes a cruise on the Chobe River and a game drive through the National Park. In between the two activities you will be treated to a hearty buffet lunch at a local lodge. The day trip ends with a transfer back to your lodge in Victoria Falls.
Day 4
Village Tour
- Located about 20km out of Victoria Falls town are the wildlife-rich tribal trust lands of the local Matebele people where you will get a real insight into the world of rural Zimbabwe. You will be transferred from your lodge in the morning to the countryside for this interactive village tour. The tour lasts for approx. 2 to 3 hours and includes cultural dancing, folklore, traditional food and interaction with the local people. After the village tour, you are transferred back to your lodge for a free afternoon of optional excursions or souvenir shopping as this will be your final day in Victoria Falls. Boma Dinner & Drum show - This legendary dining experience is the perfect way to end your tour. This 'must do' experience offers an unforgettable night of mouth-watering local cuisine, traditional dancing and interactive drumming under the African sky.
Day 5
- This is where this amazing journey ends. After breakfast and checking out, you will be transferred to the Victoria Falls International Airport for departure.
